What information do I have to provide to start the process?

For your first inquiry about a custom design you don’t need a lot of set factors. The only 2 things I’ll have to know before giving my first input is what you’d like recreated in brick form, and how you’d like it in regards to size, budget, and style. In case you’re still unsure about any of these factors, no problem! Just tell me all you’ve got and we’ll figure the rest out together.

What do I receive when commissioning a custom creation?

With each custom creation you receive at least two things - high quality digital instructions as well as all the parts you need to build your custom design.

You also have the option to choose bonus options in the form of printed or 3D-printed pieces, printed instructions or even a lasercut wooden box to complement your custom design.

Please keep in mind that all intellectual property and design rights remain with the designer unless specifically agreed upon otherwise.

How expensive is a custom design?

Prices for custom designs vary heavily depending on size and complexity of each creation. Below you can find a very rough range based on my previous work experience:

Cars

At 1:16 - 1:12 scale, 800 - 1500 parts:

800 - 1000€ (including parts)

Architecture

Small and simple, 100 - 250 parts:

80€+

Medium size and complexity, 250-750 parts:

150€+

Large size and complex construction, 750+ parts:

200€+

BrickHeads

40€ per figure

When can I expect my finished model?

The time a project requires is another factor heavily dependend on size and complexity. While the design of a BrickHeads figure can usually be finished with 2 days, models such as 1:15 scale cars take up to 3 months to reach the stage of ordering parts.
